Looking to add a new furry member to your family? Meet our adorable cats and dogs who are eagerly waiting for their forever homes. Each one has a unique story and a lot of love to give.

Audrey
Hello and allow me to introduce myself. My name is Audrey Griswold. I am the youngest, and smallest, of the Griswold family. In fact, when my foster mom got me, I only weighed 8 ounces! She bottle fed me until I waa strong enough to eat on my own. Now, just because I'm smaller doesn't mean I'm lacking in personality. In fact my foster mom says I have enough personality for two kittens! I am playful, cuddly and a purr machine. I love being with my hooman and love playing with my litter mates. I can play with anything, balls, boxes, feathers... you name it and I'll play with it. I have impeccable litter box skills, too. I am now ready to find my puuurrrfect forever home. Could it be with you?

Coco (Terrier)
My name is Coco and wow, am I a sweet girl. Just after I was rescued, we found out I was going to have puppies. My puppies are now finding homes of their own and it's time for me to as well. I'm very shy and timid at first, but will come around on my own time table. I have spent time in three different foster homes to help me overcome my shyness. I seem to be housetrained and crate trained. I love to observe things from a distance when I go to a new place, but will settle in well with a steady routine. You will notice me peeking around the corner at you from time to time and when I'm ready, I will take treats from you and approach gently for some ear scratches and petting. My foster families agree that I really do want your attention and approval, but it just takes me a little longer than most dogs to accept it. When you least expect it, I will grab toys and shake them and play. They all say that it is the cutest thing. I also get along with all other dogs I have met, so I am nicely social in that respect. Finally, small children will probably be overwhelming for me, so I will need a home with adults and older children. Because it might take me a little longer to adjust, my fosters are going to be very selective on where I go because they care for me so much. The perfect person for me is someone who will be patient and loving, and who will also not have high expectations for an immediate bond. That will come in time, I promise. You won't regret investing your time in me.

Rusty
Rusty "Russ" Griswold here and it's time for me to venture out into the world with a new forever family. Don't get me wrong, I love playing with my family members, but it's hard being the best at everything. I am the most independent of them all but that doesn't mean I don't need the pets, the love and admiration of my hooman. I will definitely let you know when I want it! My purring is contagious and my mom says I'm sweet and very handsome. I have great litter box skills. I will fill your home with much love and entertainment!

Faith
Hi, my name is Faith and I am a 13 week old small chihuahua. I am the most laid back dog you will meet. I love playing with my toys by myself, but also love to cuddle. I sleep in my crate at night like a big girl. I am just starting potty training, so wish me luck!

Silver
Hi there! My name is Silver and I am looking for my forever home.I thought I had my forever home for a couple of years, but my previous family had some hardships so they made the painful decision to surrender me back to Habitat 4 Paws.I've been with a great foster family for a few months and I am slowly coming out of my shell.I've been through so much in the last couple of years that I have a hard time trusting and adjusting to new surroundings, but I'll get there! In my foster home, I have a playful cat sibling and a dog who's a little bit afraid of me. In my true forever home, I'd love to have a playful cat sibling (I LOVE KITTENS!) or a small playful dog. I do have one quirk. I drink water by dipping my paw into the bowl and then licking the water off my paw. If you add ice cubes to my water bowl....wow, that's a good time!!I love scratching on my cat tree and exploring the house when it's quiet. At first in my foster home, I wouldn't come out of my hiding spot except at night when the house was quiet. Now, I come out and interact with my foster siblings during the day, too. I love to chase the little red dot laser pointer and that feather on a stick. I'm also the world's best fly catcher! You humans are still a bit scary sometimes, but once in awhile I wind up in a human lap and accept all the love and scratches. I'd do better in a home without a lot of noise, so small kids might not be the best for me. I'll learn to love you people eventually! Can I spend some time at your house? Habitat 4 Paws offers a one week home trial, but I think I may need more time than that to adjust. Talk to the good folks at Habitat 4 Paws and see what y'all can arrange.

Soba
Hi, I'm Soba, a tiny ball of energy wrapped in fur! If it moves, it's a toy. This includes tunnels, other cats tails, and yes, even your feet. I specialize in zoomies, dive-bombing, and turning absolutely everything into a high-speed chase. The phrase "full kitten mode" was basically invented for me. But don't worry, after I burn off my energy, I turn into a total cuddle bug. I'll curl up on your lap, pass out like I just ran a marathon (because I probably did), and sleep like a champ day or night.Kids? Not scared of them. Dogs? Haven't met one yet, but I'm open-minded. Other cats? I don't snuggle them, but their tails make fantastic playthings. We coexist just fine and lay by each other in the same area-no hard feelings!I'm easy to please when it comes to food, and my litter box habits? Purrrfection. So, if you're looking for a kitten who is equal parts wild child and snuggle bug, I'm your girl!

Penelope
Hi, I'm Penelope! I may be petite, but my personality is anything but small. I was born with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), a non-progressive neurological condition that affects my balance and coordination, giving me a delightfully wobbly walk with an occasional flip in the air. But don't worry-I don't let that slow me down! CH kitties like me adapt well and live happy, full lives with just a little extra care. We don't experience pain from our condition and often develop creative ways to get around. My foster mom says I'm a perfect mix of sweet, spunky, independent, and determined. She's amazed by how I've figured out how to do things MY way. I eat on my own using the corner as support and use the litter box like a pro-though I prefer to do it while laying down (it's comfy, okay?). My playful spirit and resilience make me a truly special companion. I love to play and snuggle with the resident cat, and while the dog and I don't exactly hang out, we have a solid agreement to peacefully ignore each other. Now, I'm ready to find my forever home! So, if you're looking for a special kitten who will bring joy, laughter, and lots of purrs, I just might be the one for you! Ok, my foster mom told me to add that my ideal home would be one where there is more carpet than hardwood or tile and one that I don't have to attempt stairs.

Chance
Hi, my name is Chance, and I am a 13-week-old male Chihuahua with the prettiest gray eyes. I love being the life of the party and playing all the time. I sleep in my crate at night like a big boy, but I prefer to be with you. I am just starting potty training, so wish me luck!

Loverboy
Besides being the comedic relief in my foster home, I am the sweetest pup ever - so much so that the shelter named me Loverboy. My foster family also calls me Little Buddy because that's what I am to everyone I meet, human and canine alike. I was so thin when rescued and have now gained 11 pounds! I'm a great medium size and love playing with other dogs of all sizes in my foster home. I'm quite silly and "talk" to you when we are playing. I sleep quietly in my crate at night and make a great office assistant during the day if you work from home. I have learned the doggie door and really have fun outside in the yard. My foster parents say I'm smart and catch on quickly to routines and training. They also say that whoever adopts me is going to be a very lucky family. These sweet brown eyes are going to be on the lookout for you!

Wasabi
Konnichiwa! My name is Wasabi, and I'm a black, male, super loving kitten who will bring a little spice to your life! Along with my foster sibling, Mochi, I was rescued from the streets and then I found my way into a rescue group. Now, I'm living the good life in my foster home, enjoying every moment of my playful kitten days.I love to wrestle and play with Mochi, but I'm also quite content with all the fun toys I have for myself. One of my little quirks is batting around kernels of dry food-got to burn off all this energy! I adore being held, getting pets, and snuggling with my humans when I'm not busy playing or napping. My litter box habits are impeccable, and I enjoy scratching away on various cardboard scratchers. I get along great with the two adult male cats in my foster home too.So, what are you waiting for? I'd be the perfect addition to your household. Let's meet soon, and I'll charm my way into your heart!

Coco (Chi)
Hi my name is Coco and I am sweet little Chihuahua at only 7 pounds. I love playing with my toys or other 4 legged friends, one is even a cat. I love to cuddle and will sit on your lap as long as you will let me. I am so easy going that I love to just sunbathe outside. I do love to go on walks too and am great on the leash. I may bark when we first meet because I get nervous around new people. I think it would be best that we meet at a park for the first time.

Hope
Hi, my name is Hope, I am a 13 week old female chihuahua. I am a good mix of playful and reserved, sometimes I want alone time too. I would make a good lap dog since I love to cuddle. I sleep in my crate at night with no problem. I am just now starting potty training, so wish me luck!

Kate
Meet Kate! With her striking green eyes and beautifully patterned coat, she stands out wherever she goes. The vet says she's part Bengal and occasionally has the activity level to match. She's a social and curious cat who loves to be where the action is, whether that's stretching out on the couch or watching the world go by from the window. Kate enjoys being around people but also values her independence-she'll keep you company without being overly demanding. She's adaptable, observant, and has great litter box manners. If you're looking for a low-maintenance, curious companion who likes to explore and be part of the household, Kate would be a great fit!

Jacks
Meet Jacks, an adorable boy with a shy side, but don't let that fool you-he has a playful heart just waiting to come out! Once he warms up, he loves chasing balls and attacking feather toys. Jacks may need a little time to be his true self in a new home but he'll soon build confidence. His soft purrs and sweet nature make him the perfect companion for someone who will give him the love and care he needs to thrive. If you're looking for a tender, playful friend, Jacks is your guy!
